Steve Gittelman, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist, Co-Founder and Clinical Director

Steve is the co-owner and Clinic Director of Rocky Mountain Mind and Body.  We have surpassed 12,000 Ketamine IV infusions since 2017 making us the expert in Ketamine therapy treatment. Steve is a nationally board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist with 43 years of healthcare experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in psychology in addition to a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia. He also completed an additional advanced practice nurse program in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and will be taking his national boards in May 2024.

His clinical expertise encompasses pediatric, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, trauma, obstetrical, and psychiatric patients. He has extensive Ketamine administration experience in practice settings that span Level 1 trauma centers, rural critical access hospitals, large regional hospitals, out-patient surgery centers, flight nursing, and office based healthcare settings along with his own Ketamine clinic. His clinical experience exceeds 86,000 hours of patient care.

Sara Palecki, Director of Patient Care and Certified Psychedelic Integration Guide

Sara comes from a diverse background in health and wellness. Her career spans behavioral health, certified addiction counseling, certified psychedelic guiding, integration coaching, trauma-informed yoga therapy, as well as meditation guidance. She has over 16 years of experience in the healing arts.

Sara’s professional journey is distinguished by personally preparing and guiding over 1100 unique individuals in over 2700 Ketamine treatments. This equates to more than 3500 hours of direct psychedelic therapeutic experience just in Ketamine therapy alone. 

Sara’s considerable experience with direct patient contact in both private and group psychedelic therapies is profoundly enriched by her dedicated application of yoga Nidra and meditation principles in therapeutic settings. Incorporating yoga and meditation principles into her psychedelic therapy work, Sara has harnessed the power of these practices to create profound and enhanced journeys. Sara is also attending the prestigious Naropa University in the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies program to widen her already extensive knowledge in the psychedelic therapeutic world.

As the primary Director of Patient Care and certified psychedelic guide at Rocky Mountain Mind and Body, Sara uses her natural skills of compassion, empathy, and kindness to lead patients into a safe space where they can surrender to the psychedelic experience. She believes that there is always room for hope and each person’s story matters.

When Sara is not busy preparing and guiding patients through their own healing journeys, holding sacred space in group healing processes, and teaching yoga/meditation, she loves to laugh, explore nature, travel, and most of all, spend time with her family.

Anya Roth, Patient Care Coordinator

Anya’s strong background in customer service and behavioral health assist her in providing prompt service and support to current and future patients. Her knack for organization and exceptional communication skills make her a great addition to the team at Rocky Mountain Mind and Body and the patients they serve.
Anya holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology which pairs well with her long standing passion for psychedelic-assisted therapy. She wants each patient to come out of an interaction feeling understood and supported in their healing journey.
During her free time Anya likes to connect with nature through camping with her dog and traveling. Moreover, her other hobbies include dancing, attending live shows, creating music playlists, and tending to her houseplants.
Porter Berryman

Porter Berryman, Co-Founder

Porter Berryman is the Co-Founder and Practice Manager of Rocky Mountain Mind and Body. She is also a passionate advocate of Ketamine Infusion Therapy due to her life-long struggle with anxiety and depression. As Porter likes to say..."I am you!"  After her first Ketamine Infusion, she felt a level of relief not experienced in decades. When her partner Steve planted the seed to start a new Ketamine Clinic In the Denver area, she did not hesitate. She shares a profound understanding with all who struggle with these debilitating disorders.

Porter not only handles the clinic business, she talks with our patients and helps many deal with the emotions and anxieties felt when contemplating this unique therapy. She can relate to that fear, excitement, and hopefulness a possible effective treatment can bring and is able to educate and reassure them and help them take that next step to relief.
