I have suffered with debilitating effects of Lyme Disease since 2000. For me that included full body nerve pain, significant joint issues (requiring 10+ years of prolotherapy, PRP and stem cells), insomnia, clinical depression, oral, eye, and digestive issues. Migraine is by far most significant pain resulting from bulging/compressed discs from car accident and aggravated by Lyme Disease joint degeneration. Acute flare-ups caused temporary cognitive decline and inability to work for weeks or months at a time.
My husband first found ketamine option in 2019 but my drug concerns caused postponement. Fear of having to close my business of 22 years was my rock bottom and catalyst to move forward. I had my six infusions October 2023 and have had a 90% migraine/headache reduction and 50%+ reduction in nerve and joint pain. Toradol (ketorolac) injections in comparison provided about 20-40% pain reduction for 6-8 hours.
